Mercy had during her stay on the reality show claimed that her billionaire lover offered her the N120 million grand prize for her not to participate in the show, but she declined.

However, the reality star, during an interview with popular media personality, Toke Makinwa, on Tuesday reversed her position, saying that she lied about having a rich boyfriend outside the big brother’s house.

Former Super Eagles striker Daniel Amokachi is set to begin his journey as head coach of Lobi Stars in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), with hopes of starting strong.

Lobi Stars will lock horns with Niger Tornadoes in a North Central derby at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna later today.

Amokachi was appointed earlier this week following the sacking of former coach Eugene Agagbe.

The Makurdi-based side has had a rocky start to the 2024/25 campaign, securing only one win, alongside a draw and three defeats in their opening five games.

Their 1-0 triumph over Shooting Stars last weekend marked their first victory of the season.

In their last meeting with Niger Tornadoes, Lobi Stars suffered a 3-2 defeat.

Meanwhile, Niger Tornadoes are still on the hunt for their first home win of the season.

Police operatives in Imo State have arrested a suspected kidnapper and organ harvester during a daring rescue in the Douglas area of the state.

The suspect, 38-year-old Justine Emmanuel from Amimo in Ikeduru Local Government Area, was nabbed during a swift operation that saved a 19-year-old woman, whose name has been withheld to protect her privacy.

In a statement on Saturday, police spokesperson Henry Okoye detailed how officers on patrol became suspicious after spotting a blue and white bus behaving erratically.

Investigating further, they observed a group attempting to abduct the young woman, with the intention of transporting her to an unknown location for organ harvesting.

“During the chase, the victim bravely jumped from the moving bus and was rescued by our operatives. The police pursued the suspects, prompting them to abandon the vehicle. While one suspect was arrested, others escaped into the nearby bush,” said Okoye.

The police have launched a full-scale investigation to track down the remaining members of the syndicate and expose the depth of their operations.

Okoye reassured the public of the police force’s determination to clamp down on violent crimes and urged citizens to report any suspicious behavior immediately.
