“N100 million well spent” – Don Jazzy unveils new Mavin’s signee, Lifesize Teddy

Nigerian singer and producer, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has announced the signing of a new artist to Mavin Records.

Don unveiled fast rising, singer, rapper, poet and songwriter, Lifesize Teddy, as the latest signee to join the record label from the Mavin Academy.

He shared a video of the singer with the caption: “Unveiling a new artist is a reminder of how an artist have let themselves go through the laid down process of the Mavin academy, the testament of our faith in them and the coming together of our hardwork [sic].

“With the power vested in me by the Supreme Mavin Dynasty It’s my pleasure to introduce you to Mavin’s latest signee. Rapper, poet, singer and songwriter Lifesize Teddy.”

This is coming shortly after he disclosed that he invests a substantial amount of money, ranging from 50m to 100m naira, when signing new artists to his record label within a year.

He explained that before making a decision, he delves deep into understanding the potential artist and ultimately chooses the one he feels a strong connection with.

Once selected, he embarks on the journey of nurturing and developing the individual’s talent while building a dedicated fan base.

Rising American rapper Enchanting has tragically passed away at the age of 26, her representative confirmed.

The Texas-based artist was rushed to the ICU on Monday night after allegedly suffering cardiac arrest from an overdose.

Enchanting gained fame after signing with Gucci Mane’s New 1017 label in 2020, releasing hit songs like “Track & Field” and “What I Want”.

In a separate news, Canadian singer Celine Dion has revealed her 17-year secret battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.

“I was holding on to my dreams, but keeping it from the people who got me to where I was became a huge burden,” Dion said in an interview.

Renowned high-life singer, Flavour N’abania, has laid his father, Benjamin Onyemaechi Okoli, to rest in Umunze, Anambra state.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Flavour shared a video bidding his father a final farewell, captioned “O RUO N’OMUME. KA ANYI DUO ODOGWU IJE”.

The funeral ceremony was graced by notable celebrities, including Peter Obi, Phyno, and Obi Cubana, among others.

Flavour’s wife, Sandra Okagbue, paid her respects to her father-in-law on Instagram, celebrating his life as an icon to many.

Flavour had announced his father’s passing on May 22nd, sharing an emotional video on Facebook and Twitter.

“Today, we gather not in sorrow, but in celebration of the life of a remarkable man,” Sandra Okagbue wrote.
