Their relationship is everything to emulate, Junior Pope gushes over bond between Rita Dominic, Ini Edo, others

Actor Junior Pope has admired the strong bond that exists between actress Rita Dominic and her old time friends in Nollywood.

The movie star via his Instagram page on Thursday shared a video of a recent dinner that had Ini Edo, Rita Dominic, Chioma Akpotha and Uche Jombo in attendance.

Describing them as legends, the 39-year-old praised them for their enviable relationship which he said is worth emulating.

He recalled how they grew from starring in movies produced on VHS to VCD, DVD, Africa Magic, and now Netflix and Amazon.

He wrote: “True definition of success… True legends. The relationship between these BIG NAMES is everything to emulate….started… From VHS to VCD to DVD to AMAGIC to NETFLIX, AMAZON, etc (wow) Who does that???

“Yet still sticking together. I celebrate you all… The type of game everyone should pray for… HBD @ritadominic REEDEE, wishing you many more awesome years to come… Amen.”

Rita Dominic on Wednesday celebrated her 48th birthday with some of her close friends and family members.

Her friend and colleague Ini Edo shared a video from the birthday party on Instagram on Thursday.

The party had the likes of Chioma Akpotha, Kate Henshaw, Michelle Dede, Mo Abudu, and Ego Boyo in attendance.

Ini Edo described the party as a priceless moment as she had time to catch up with friends whom she called “true sisters”.

She noted that they have come a long way and for her, it’s humbling to see how far God has brought them.

Rising American rapper Enchanting has tragically passed away at the age of 26, her representative confirmed.

The Texas-based artist was rushed to the ICU on Monday night after allegedly suffering cardiac arrest from an overdose.

Enchanting gained fame after signing with Gucci Mane’s New 1017 label in 2020, releasing hit songs like “Track & Field” and “What I Want”.

In a separate news, Canadian singer Celine Dion has revealed her 17-year secret battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.

“I was holding on to my dreams, but keeping it from the people who got me to where I was became a huge burden,” Dion said in an interview.

Renowned high-life singer, Flavour N’abania, has laid his father, Benjamin Onyemaechi Okoli, to rest in Umunze, Anambra state.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Flavour shared a video bidding his father a final farewell, captioned “O RUO N’OMUME. KA ANYI DUO ODOGWU IJE”.

The funeral ceremony was graced by notable celebrities, including Peter Obi, Phyno, and Obi Cubana, among others.

Flavour’s wife, Sandra Okagbue, paid her respects to her father-in-law on Instagram, celebrating his life as an icon to many.

Flavour had announced his father’s passing on May 22nd, sharing an emotional video on Facebook and Twitter.

“Today, we gather not in sorrow, but in celebration of the life of a remarkable man,” Sandra Okagbue wrote.
